Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Place the peppers on a baking sheet and put them in a preheated 220 °C oven for 15 minutes. Turn them over several times. When the peppers become soft and the skin is covered with dark char marks, transfer them to a plastic bag and seal it tightly. Leave for 15 minutes to allow the peppers to soften.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Clean the peppers from skin and seeds. Cut them into strips.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Mix goat cheese with half cream cheese until smooth.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Take 4 slices of bread and spread them with a thick layer of cheese mixture.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Place the pepper strips on the buttered bread. Cover with the remaining 4 slices of bread.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Using a sharp knife, trim the crusts from all sides of the sandwiches. Cut each sandwich diagonally twice to create four triangles.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Spread the sandwich cuts with the remaining cream cheese. Roll the cuts in chopped walnuts so they are coated with a nutty crust on all sides.
