Cut off the top of the bun and carefully remove some of the crumb to create a hollow for the egg.

Place the bun on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Break the egg into the indentation.

Sprinkle with herbs, add cream, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 20–25 minutes until the eggs are cooked.

Place the cut-off bun tops on a baking sheet and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
