Step 1
Pass raisins and prunes through a meat grinder or chop with a blender.
- 2
Step 2
Add a little water to achieve a thick porridge consistency. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes — during this time the dried fruits will absorb the water and become softer.
- 3
Step 3
Finely chop the nuts so that individual pieces are still visible and they don't turn into a paste. Add them to the dried fruits along with honey and mix thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4
Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. Mix it thoroughly with the mixture of dried fruits and nuts.
- 5
Step 5
Spread the fruit and nut filling over the pastila sheet, leaving 2 centimeters from all edges.
- 6
Step 6
Carefully roll the pastila into a roll without squeezing out the filling.
- 7
Step 7
Place the finished roll in the refrigerator for an hour so the butter hardens and the roll can be sliced into thin slices.
- 8
Step 8
Slice the roll crosswise into thin slices and serve with tea.
