Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Prepare all ingredients: potatoes, baking soda, vegetable oil, and salt.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin sticks of equal size.

  3. 3

Rinse the sliced potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch. This will make the potatoes crispier.

    Step 4

Dissolve baking soda in 1.5 liters of hot water in a bowl.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Transfer the potatoes to a baking soda solution and leave for 10 minutes. This will help soften the surface and make the potatoes crispier when frying.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Pat the potatoes dry, drizzle with vegetable oil and mix thoroughly so the oil is distributed evenly.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer basket and cook for 7 minutes at 180 degrees. Shake the potatoes and cook for another 7 minutes.

  8. 8
