Ham, Tomato and Iceberg Omelet

Quick omelet with crispy ham, fresh tomatoes, and crispy lettuce. Ham and cheese sauce provide plenty of flavor, so you don't need to add salt. You can substitute arugula for the lettuce for a more intense taste.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Cut the ham into thin strips and fry in a pan (you can use no oil). Add finely chopped tomatoes and onion. Stew for 2–3 minutes.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Add cheese sauce, salt, pepper and herbs to the egg. Beat well with a whisk or fork. Pour the mixture into the pan, stir with a spatula and cover with a lid.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Chop the iceberg lettuce into thin strips. Arrange on a plate in a nest shape and place the omelet in the center. Or mix the salad with the hot omelet (off the pan) — then it will be warm and more tender.
