Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Place the ribs on a baking sheet.

In a blender bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil.

Add minced garlic, sliced jalapeño peppers, red bell pepper, coarsely chopped onion, grated ginger, tomato paste, and salt to taste.

Beat all ingredients into a uniform marinade.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Divide the marinade into two parts: pour one part (approximately 4 cups) over the ribs, and set the rest aside.

Leave the ribs to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Heat the grill.

Bring the remaining marinade to a boil in a saucepan and simmer over low heat until approximately one-third of the liquid has evaporated.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Place the ribs on a hot grill and cook, regularly brushing with the condensed marinade.

If the ribs start to burn, move them to a cooler part of the grill.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Transfer the cooked ribs to a plate and let them cool slightly.

Cut into individual ribs and serve.
