Step 1
Chop the onion into small pieces and fry in a pan until golden. Add thinly sliced mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
Place the mushrooms with onions in a bowl, mix with mayonnaise and mustard, leaving some of both seasonings to spread on the buns. Mix well.

Step 2
Salt and pepper the minced meat, beat it well in a bowl. Form 4 flat thin cutlets.
Heat the pan and add a minimal amount of oil. Fry the cutlets, pressing them down with a spatula so they don't puff up. When one side is golden brown, flip them over and fry the second side until it has a brown crust.

Step 3
Remove the skillet from heat, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid. The cheese will melt by the time you assemble the burger.
- 4
Step 4
Lightly toast the buns in a toaster or oven.
- 5
Step 5
Slice the tomato into thin rings crosswise — one ring per burger. Slice the cucumber into rounds, approximately 3–4 rounds per burger.

Step 6
Spread the bottom bun with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard. Layer: cucumbers, cheese burger patty, mushroom mixture, tomato. Spread the top bun with ketchup and close the burger. Repeat for the remaining burgers.
