Beef Burgers with Pickles

Juicy homemade burgers with layers of beef patty, melted cheese, fresh vegetables, and pickled cornichons. The patties are cooked on a skillet and in the oven, which ensures even cooking and juiciness. The buns are toasted until crispy, and all components are assembled in the perfect order for maximum flavor.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Put the ground meat in a large bowl, add chicken eggs, salt, pepper and spices to taste. Mix well. Add flour — it will give the cutlets density and prevent them from falling apart during frying.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Heat a skillet with sunflower oil. Wet your hands with water and shape the cutlets. Fry them for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the cutlets in the oven for 20–25 minutes so they cook through well inside.

  4. 4

    Step 4

While the cutlets are cooking, cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips, slice the tomatoes into thin rounds, and cut the cornichons into thin strips.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Remove the cutlets from the oven and let them cool. Cut each one in half — you'll get 14 halves for burgers.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Cut the buns in half and warm them in a toaster until they become slightly crispy.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Assemble the hamburger in layers: bottom bun, ketchup, patty, cheese slice, tomato ring, cornichon strips, mayonnaise, cabbage, top bun.
